How many languages can I add?
With langify you can translate into up to 20 languages. With your base language that amounts to 21 languages in total.
Does langify incorporate hreflang tags?
Yes, hreflang tags are added automatically to your store pages the moment you publish your translation language and assign it to a market. Note that the hreflang tags are managed by Shopify and are generated based on your Shopify Market settings. Our langify app does not have a direct influence on them. Can I translate the checkout with langify?
Yes, you can translate your checkout with langify. For the most common languages, Shopify offers checkout translations out of the box and you do not have to add any translations yourself. If you want to add or edit translations for the checkout, this can be done in langify at Online Store -> Theme -> Shopify. How can I preview an unpublished language?
To preview a language that has not been published and is therefore not visible to your customers, please go to the Shopify Language settings. There you will find a list of your unpublished languages and next to them a small menu where you have the option to preview the content.
How can I fix links pointing to the wrong language?
If links on your translated page should redirect the user back to the default language, then the reason could be that the theme or an app is using not-localized URLs in its code. You can reach out and check with the theme or app support about this - It might be possible that there is a newer version available that already correctly localizes your links....
